Actually it’s a Saint. Yup, that’s right – Saint Cosmetics. When I first saw the line I was dubious. It was beautiful and I loved all the gorgeous, wearable colors but it was a “Green” line and that usually means less than spectacular performance. Well, boy was I wrong. My first test was the liquid foundation. I’m picky about foundation as I like it to go on creamy and smooth but not too heavy. It needs to be buildable. I tried Pearly Gates. It was just enough coverage for me, although one full pump is too much - about half would do the trick, and had a nice tone too. Ok, so gluten free, non-toxic, organic, vegan, cruelty free might actually stand up to makeup artistry.
I moved though the rest of my process trying the nude palette, blush, bronzer, lip liner and lipstick. Each step I found that the colors looked crisp, and blended like a champ. I tried a few looks both on myself and on friends and the results were the same. We were all floored with the performance. Just recently they released their Face Primer with Aloe Vera, that I’m loving also.
So now we don’t need a fairy godmother to get dressed for the ball – or for work. All we need is a little Saint.
